This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Can I use your characters and other work for Role Play sites/blogs for Roleplaying ? NO. Never. Because many of them include characters of other people (commissions, trades etc), which I don't have ownership of. And I don't want my characters to be used by other people either.
Can I highly reference/trace from your work / copy parts of your characters? NO. Especially not copying my characters! I don't want to be whiny. But please make your own. It took me 8 years to refine most of my characters their designs and I don't like seeing 8 years of work being -TAKEN- by others. If you want to use my work to PRACTISE drawing, then I do allow it as long as you credit me. But again, no direct copying of characters or complete works.
Can I post your fan art of existing anime/books/tv series on my blog/site/etc.? Yes, but only if you link back to me deviantart account and/or the drawing in my gallery. This is the ONLY exception I make when it comes to posting my work on another site. But you are NOT allowed to sell the work, trace it, highly reference it etc. So if you are keeping a fan blog of let's say FMA or Bleach. Then you are allowed to post the drawing WITH a LINK to my account/the original drawing.
Can I share your work on Pinterest / Tumblr ? Yes, as long as you link back to my deviantART page or the original drawing in a way.
Can we be friends? Well, Becoming friends isn't done by simply asking. Maybe it worked when we were little kids and simply asked the other "shall we be friends"? The other would say yes. But, we're grown up people and friendship is something that grows. It's something build on trust, having fun, sharing eachothers good and bad times and so on. I won't ramble on about what friendship is. But don't expect me to say yes if you expect us to be friends by simply asking xD It's something you have to work on. BTW. Becoming a friend of mine is NOT going to get you free art from me, if that's your reason to get close to me, get the fock off my page (: The same for drawing me gifts, yes I appreciate it but it's not going to guarantee you getting anything drawn as well from me. Gifts are voluntary, some people don't understand that.
Do you do requests? / Can you draw this for me? No, It would be unfair towards the people who commission me.
Can you teach me to draw like you / give me private lessons in art? First of all.. I'm not a teacher :,D And I don't have the time to give every single person who asks me private lessons. Plus, there's no way you're ever going to draw the same way as another person for those who want to draw like a certain artist. It's more important to discover the world of art by yourself with TIPS of other artists... but know that they won't have time to give you personal lessons. You could always follow a drawing class near the place you live though who are given by people who's job it is to teach about art and drawing.
Can you look at my gallery / art ? Maybe... but realize dozens of people ask me this on a regular basis and also ask for critique. It depends on if I have enough time. But realize I'm a pretty busy person :/ If you want comments/critique from me. I advise you think about what EXACTLY you want my critique on and if you are looking for help with drawing, I advise you sent me a seperate note with the exact drawing with an exact description of what you want me to help with. BUT DON'T RANDOMLY ASK ME TO LOOK. It's annoying :,|
Will you please watch me / give me points / give me other things? Again... don't ask me for stuff >.< I don't give points unless it's for a VERY GOOD reason. If one of your pets or family members are in danger well then I will. But not if it's because you simply want more points or other stuff :/ And I don't respond to questions like "wil you please watch me". Know that it doesn't work that way -,- If I like your work and if it inspires me, then I will.
Can I draw one of your characters? I consider these drawings gifts, so yes of course ! :,D But still, as long as you credit me for the character and not claim them as your own.
Can we RP / Do you RP? Nope. I am simply not into it and I also don't have the time to do so.
What drawing programs do you use? Photoshop CS6 and Paint Tool Sai.
What tablet do you use to draw digitally? I use a Wacom Intuos3 Oversize. And as for the fillers I use for my pen, I use felt-tip fillers (so not the regular ones).
What do you use to sketch? It varies. I use my Bic Cristal ballpoint pens the most though when it comes to sketching traditionally. I still use the Pentel mechanical pencils a lot as well. And recently I started sketching with the Pentel Pocket Brush as well. And sometimes, I also sketch in Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop CS6.
What canvas size do you use for digital work? I work on 5000px or above for most big digital drawings. Some sketches or small drawings are often done on smaller canvas sizes though.
What inspires you to draw what you draw ? I get inspiration from pretty much anything and anywhere. I mostly get inspired by various cultures (mostly eastern) and nature (landscapes, clouds, animals etc), by people I've seen in my life or who are close to me, various anime series and artists I look up to have also inspired me for a huge part, and of course a lot of artists here on deviantArt who inspired me to start drawing (;
Do you go to art school ? Nope, I once applied to go to one but I changed thoughts and went in another direction to study Urban Design (: I've always been and still am a self-taught artist.
How long have you been around on deviantART? On my old account 5 years or so, here 3.. so around 8 years total.
How long have you been drawing? I was drawing before I was writing : P But in a serious way... for about 10-11 years or so.
Do you have skype / can we chat ? Yes I do have skype, THOUGH I'm hardly online for chitchat / I don't use it much as I pretty much always have got something to finish or do so I practically don't have time to chat online :,D I use it more to discuss trades and collaborations / as a form of work-communication.
Why don't you do livestreams? My workflow is very unstable. I take breaks A LOT. And on workdays I often only have around 15-30 minutes to work on a drawing. My way of working just doesn't fit the whole livestream thing :/ I do make videos though and post them on my Youtube account.
Are you planning on making a comic? Nope, sadly I don't have the time to do so in my life. Real life stuff is keeping me way too busy to actually set up a full comic. I do write plots for my stories though and draw out various scenes/moments and characters to visualize their world. But still, not a full comic.
Why don't you reply to my comment / note ? I'm probably stuck in a busy period in real life. And due to stuff going on with college and work in real life, it might take me longer (couple of days) to answer. I will most likely answer in weekends.
